Uzi Wiesel acted as the artistic director of the Kibutz Orchestra for a few years. His work with the orchestra concentrated on the idea of “Orchestra conducts itself”. The idea of a chamber orchestra learning to play as chamber musicians was a bold idea which inspired the orchestra to reach new levels of playing.
